I had a 2003 340 with the 8.1 v drives . I felt those engines were a perfect match for the 340 . I’ve always loved the 380, but was concerned power might be borderline with gas engines . Can anyone share experience of cruise speed and top speed of this configuration ?

I love this boat!!! It reminds me of an old Chris Craft Commander 35 Express Cruiser but obviously much more refined.

I live in the US, and this guy knows how to review a boat! I know this posting is 3 yrs old, but I still think it needs to be commended. I'm guessing once you buy from Dan, he will be your boat rep forever. I've been to boat shows and have owned a boat. I share this b/c I know the process of showing a boat and Dan excels. I just subscribed and hope he is still in the business. P.S. @3:28 you talk about space for two boyfriends.....what if a person has three? lol. (just making a joke) 😂

I already know that people are going to leave that rear seat back, forget about it, trim the motors up while underway and smash the heck out of it. That will be a very expensive mistake.

Very very interesting, thanks Dan! I noted a consumption of 70 A at 4.5 knots and 110 A at 5 knots... I am also interested in knowing the consumption at 3 knots, 4 knots, 6 knotsand 7 knots, to have a complete picture. Thank you so much. I would also be interested to know at which speed the boat is energy self-sufficient with its solar panels. For information, in 2013 a video from Greenline France (*) indicated 3.8 knots, according to tests on a lake for 5 hours (where the battery charge remained constant). Over the past 10 years, electric motors have probably improved and so have solar panels... Thank you. Very clear instruction. I was just googling the ratchet/free setting and coming up with shear nonsense. Also almost every Selden in mast furling video is useless. I know this is 11 years old, but why did it take months to find it? My in mast sail was working okay and then it just started jamming. I'm sure I've forgotten some key step.... I just wanted to go back and step through the basics. I have a whole list of sailing video makers who talk about a subject without actually sharing any usable information. My problem? I think I've been leaving the setting on Free, the In/Out just loose enough and the sail unravels. I've left the boat with it jammed and returned after a long trip to find it unjammed and working.
